Free Chess Class for Children conducted on 07-04-2017 at Anna Centenary Library

Anna Centenary library is organising a series of summer programmes under the banner Kodai kondattam. As the seventh day of the event , Chess Class had been conducted at 11.00 am to12:30 pm. on 7.4.17, amazing mind game for our kids. It was a fabulous responds from children and parents.

The chess trainers Mr. Sakkaravarthi, K. Mr. Umasankar. S, and Mr. K. Prabhu have trained the children in a systematic maner. There are more than 42 students have attended the program, they were grouped as beginners and intermediate players. 

The beginners were trained to know how to move the pieces and the basic rules of the chess game.Trainers instructed the Children about what is check, what is check – mate. The intermediate players trained to know the chess strategy , and trained to solve the puzzles. Children were participated with more enthusiastic in the chess class.
